One of Haive Salassi's lions was still in captivity in 1992 when Michael Palin passed through Ethiopia on the course of his "Pole to Pole" journey. The poor beast looked really miserable and bored.

Is that guy with the whale skull John Fuller? Was he really related to the former Ethiopian emperor?
